At OTAQ Connectors we manufacture our Logging inserts from a superior grade of glass filled epoxy resin with high strength and high temperature capability along with excellent electrical insulation properties.
Logging tools are inserted into the well and can be used to measure the electrical, acoustic, radioactive and electromagnetic properties of the subsurface formations. Sometimes the logging tools are incorporated into the drilling tool, and sometimes the drilling tools are lowered into the well at regular intervals to collect data.
Greater well depths and higher temperatures are bringing new demands on logging hardware, our logging insert connections are compact, lightweight, reliable and cost effective.
